A New Home with God

John saw a wonderful picture of heaven, where God Himself wipes away every tear. It is a promise of the happiest home we could ever imagine.

God showed John a special vision of the days that were still to come. In the vision John saw a beautiful new heaven and a new earth, and the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God, glowing with a soft, bright light. Everything sparkled like morning, fresh and clean and good. John’s heart felt warm and full as he looked.

In this new home there was no more crying, and no more feeling sad. Nobody was lonely, and nobody was afraid anymore. It was as if every tear had been turned into a smile. God was making everything fresh and new, just like the very first day.

Then John heard a gentle voice, kind and sure. “God will live with His people,” the voice said softly. “He will be with them, and they will be with Him.” John listened closely, and his heart grew quiet with peace.

“God will wipe away every tear,” the voice said, gentle as a whisper. He pictured God’s own loving hand, soft against each cheek. “There will be no more hurts,” the voice promised, “only joy.” The words felt like a warm hug that would never end.

John was filled with hope, bright and sure like sunshine. He knew that one day God will make everything good again. We will run into our new home and never have to leave. And best of all, we will be with God, who loves us, forever and ever.

Thank You, God, for the wonderful home You are making for us. Help me look forward with a happy heart to being with You forever.
